One site that has grown up since this site was founded is Money
Saving Expert.This site was set up by a finanical journalist who uses his
reserch skills to find cheaper ways of doing things. It has grown into a business
as many of the links it uses generates a little income and it has a large readership.
The Site - money
advice. This site is aimed at students but it
contains useful information for everyone. This link takes you to the money page
and from there you can access information on benefits, dealing with debt and
bankruptcy amongst other things.
The Site - housing
adviceAnother part of this student orientated
site covers housing information so most of the information is about renting
property rather than buying. However, there are still some useful links there
for homeowners including fire safety and dealing with leaky boilers.
The Citizen's
Advice BureauThis link will take you to the section of their online
advice guide that deals with debt. If you look in he menu on the left there
are also links to other three other sections that deal with money i.e. benefits,
tax and employment.
The Prepared Home
This is another web site about household issues. The emphasis on this site is
on being prepared for emergencies.
Worship Tools
This web site is about a totally different interest of mine namely using things
like flags, banners and ribbons as part of worshipping God, yes even in church.
There are hints about how to use them.

This link will take to the welcome page for the online learning site I have
developed.
Workthing Sometimes the best way of making ends meet
is to find a new job and clicking on this image will take you to a site
that will help you do just that. There are tools and advice that go from
the thinking about what job you could do, through the process of preparing
for that job, finding a job and even help in settling into your new position.
Tesco Clicking on this image will take you to the DVD
part of the entertainment section but they also sell electrical goods,
flowers, wine as well as groceries of course. The clubcard points collected
mean that you are sent money-off vouchers on a regular basis.
Webmoney offer financial services including insurance
as well as advice on choosing financial products. One useful service they
offer is a search for the cheapest home insurance for your needs.
Abcaz is a shopping service that helps people find goods
online before they go out and buy them on the high street. The idea is
that you find out who offers the best deal in the comfort of your own
home before you even leave home.
Avon make up fragrances etc. are well known but they
also sell lingerie, gifts and fashion accessories.
